Lu Xun was a Chinese #writer, #poet, translator and literary critic. He was the leader of the New Culture Movement, regarded as a leading figure of modern Chinese literature. In 1918, he published "A Madman's Diary", which satirized traditional Chinese culture and called for a New Culture. "A Madman's Diary" was the one of the first short story written in vernacular Chinese, and was selected as one of the 100 best books in history by the Bokklubben World Library. Lu Xun's works have a great influence in China's literature.
