Paul Eluard was a #French poet, and the one of the founders of the surrealist movement. He had participated in #Dada group, later in 1924, turned to surrealism and initiated the surrealist movement. Eluard joined the French #Communist Party, continuing the resistance movement event he was delisted from the party. He was hailed as the great poets of the Resistance. Most of Eluard's poems used love as the theme, and his representative works include "Poésie et vérité", "Le Devoir et l'Inquiétude", "Au rendez-vous allemand", etc.
