Honda Kotaro was a Japanese #physicist, #metallurgist and #inventor. He invented a type of magnetic resistant steel which was called KS steel. KS steel's strength was stronger than the other kinds of steel, and was the most powerful steel in the world. Honda's invention attracted attention in the scientific community. In 1933, he improved upon the steel, and created NKS steel. Honda was awarded the Order of Culture in 1937, regarded as "the father of steel".
