Sessue Hayakawa was a #Japanese movie star. In 1915, he performed a bad guy in the film "The Cheat" and became famous. After he got the fame, he performed almost 20 films during 3 years and activated in the outset of #Hollywood. However, anti-Japanese sentiment were getting stronger in Hollywood, so he left and went to France, Germany and British. After World War II, Hayakawa returned to Hollywood to participate the performance of the film "The Bridge on The River Kwai". He received a nomination for #Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor in 1958.
