Minakata Kumagusu was a ‪#‎Japanese‬ ‪#‎botanist‬ and ‪#‎biologist‬, and the founder of Japan ‪#‎folklore‬. He was especially interested in slime molds. In 1929, he had a speech to the Emperor Showa and dedicated the slime molds specimens to to the Emperor Showa. Minakata published his works "Junishiko" in the magazine since 1923, which collected all of his thought and knowledge and was the one of his most important works.
