Tomas Edward Lawrence was a British army officer and an archaeologist. He had a great contribution to the Arab national liberation, was referred "Lawrence of Arabia". He also was regarded as a national hero in the Arab, and the greatest hero in England. In 1919, he wrote a memoir about the Arab war, "Seven Pillars of Wisdom", which based on his own experience. "Seven Pillars of Wisdom" was later adapted into a film, "Lawrence of Arabia", and won a number of Academy Awards.
