Yamada Kosaku was a Japanese #composer, #conductor and the first international composer in Japan. He founded the Japan Symphony Society in 1925, which was the predecessor of NHK Symphony Orchestra. Yamada wrote about 1600 works in his life, including #symphony, opera, song, etc. He had created a lot of children's songs with poets Mikiro Fū and Kitahara Hakushū, and the "Red Dragonfly" is the most famous children's songs.
