Jane Addams was a sociologist, and leader in women's suffrage and world peace. She also was the one of founding member of the #settlement house, Hull House, a place to live and study for immigrant and refugee. However, Addams found that personal relief can not fundamentally reform society, and considered the best way to change the society was gave women the suffrage. In 1931, she won the #Nobel Peace Prize and was the first American women who won the prize.
